I'm Alex

I'm a UX/UI Designer, a keen foodie, a travel geek, and mother to my beautiful baby girl.

I am an altruistic, problem-solving creative, with a BA Hons in Product Design.

After several years of working in Automotive process improvement, I was feeling creatively stunted. I wanted to find a career that was more fulfilling; a profession where I could apply my creativity to make a positive impact on others. As an ISFJ personality type, nothing beats the satisfaction of knowing that I've helped someone.

In 2020, after expressing my frustration over a poorly designed website, a friend recommended I look into UX Design, and I've never looked back! I went on to complete a professional certificate in both UX and UI Design through the UX Design Institute.

In the workplace, I excel most when I am completing work I truly believe in, and collaborating with others to work towards shared goals. I believe strongly in the importance of research; asking the right questions to truly understand user needs.

I am looking for a work environment where I can continue to learn, be inspired by others, and produce beautiful products, that make a real, positive difference to people's lives.
